Church of the Holy Apostles

The Church of the Holy Apostles in Barnwell, SC, is an active Anglican parish founded in 1848. Constructed in 1856 from cypress, it is a rare surviving antebellum Carpenter Gothic structure. During the Civil War, Union troops used it as a horse stable, but the church survived.
